Hidden Retreat is a place where the story of nature meets the human desire for peace and adventure. This hidden gem in Vysočina, near Lipnice nad Sázavou, was created through the transformation of an abandoned granite quarry that witnessed decades of hard human labour. Today, it has become an oasis of calm where history meets modern comfort.

In a stylish wooden cabin set directly above the mirror-like surface of the flooded quarry, you will find a cosy interior designed for two. Each morning, the glass wall welcomes you with a view that never grows old: calm water, forest silence and perhaps a few rays of sunlight shyly filtering through the trees.

The accommodation includes a small but fully functional kitchenette, a hot shower and a separate toilet. In the evening, you can prepare dinner on the grill and then simply listen to the rustling forest with a glass of wine in hand.

And the best part? A sauna floats directly on the water, warming both body and soul. A refreshing dip in the quarry water or a moment in a wooden hot tub under the open sky will transport you to another world, one where peace, silence and the present moment are the greatest luxuries.

Hidden Retreat is located in the heart of Vysočina, near Lipnice nad Sázavou. You will receive the exact address and arrival instructions after completing your reservation, because the place is truly hidden, just as a proper retreat should be.

By car: We recommend arriving by car. The final part of the journey follows a forest road that is accessible by regular car in dry conditions, even without 4x4. Parking is available approximately 200 metres from the cabin, from where you continue on foot.

By train: The nearest railway station is in Světlá nad Sázavou, about 15 minutes away by car. From the station, we recommend taking a taxi or arranging an individual transfer with us, subject to availability.

By bus: The nearest bus stop is Radostovice u Světlé nad Sázavou, from where it is about a 1.5 km walk to us.
