Our story

GlampingCZ was born at a time when the world briefly came to a standstill.

Travelling far away was no longer something we could take for granted. And that made the desire to discover places closer to home even stronger — more slowly, more consciously, and in a different way. Places that may not be visible at first glance, but have atmosphere, a story, and the ability to change the rhythm of life for a few days.

It was from this idea that GlampingCZ came to life in 2020. The project was founded by Tomáš Pochop, owner of the marketing agency BPR, who brought the original vision to life. Together with his team, he began searching for and carefully selecting exceptional glamping places across the Czech Republic, connecting them with people who wanted to experience nature without compromising on comfort, aesthetics, or the quality of the stay.

Since then, GlampingCZ has become the largest Czech booking platform for glamping. In one place, it brings together hundreds of carefully selected locations and helps people find stays they will remember.

In 2026, GlampingCZ entered a new chapter. It became part of the KODU group, which is building an ecosystem for smaller, modular, and more accessible forms of living, recreation, and investment use. By connecting GlampingCZ and KODU, we are creating a space where glamping does not end with booking a stay — it can begin with the very first idea.

Our ambition is to move glamping in the Czech Republic forward. We want to continue discovering exceptional places for guests looking for peace, nature, and a meaningful experience. At the same time, we want to be a partner for landowners, operators, and investors who want to create new glamping places thoughtfully, with quality and long-term care.

But the most important thing remains unchanged.

GlampingCZ is still built on a love for places with soul. On careful selection, a personal approach, and the belief that a great stay is not only about where you sleep, but what you take away from it.

Tomáš Pochop, the author of the original GlampingCZ vision, remains part of the project in this new stage as a co-owner. It is this continuity of the founding idea, together with the new support of the KODU group, that allows us to develop GlampingCZ with respect for where it comes from - and with the ambition to move the whole field forward.
