The days when a lookout cabin served only hunters are long gone. Today, it has become a place for those seeking a return to simplicity, peace, and the quiet of the forest. In the morning, you will wake to birdsong, in the evening you will be captivated by the sunset, and throughout the day you will enjoy views of the surrounding greenery. Whether you long for a peaceful weekend for two or solitude in nature, "Posed za horou" is the ideal retreat.

Even though you are surrounded by the deep nature of Vysočina, you certainly do not have to give up comfort.

The lookout cabin is equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay – in the modest but fully functional kitchenette, you will find a gas stove, mugs, cutlery, and even wine glasses for a cosy evening.

Inside, you will stay warm thanks to the built-in gas heating, while LED lighting, a mini fridge, and sockets for charging your phone or laptop add to the basic comfort.

The cabin also includes a biological toilet located next to the veranda, so everything remains close at hand and convenient.

And when you feel like stepping outside, there is outdoor seating beneath the cabin, a hammock between the trees, and a fire pit with a grill – ideal for evenings by the fire. For a larger group, there is also a space next to the cabin where you can pitch a tent.

1. Leave Mrákotín along the main road in the direction of Dobrá Voda and Práskolesy.

2. After leaving the village, continue and drive across the dam of Řibřid pond – this is a comfortable route along a third-class asphalt road.

3. At the end of the road, just before the rest area, pay attention – turn left uphill onto a dirt road.

4. Continue straight for about 350 m along this road – Posed Za Horou will then appear on your right.
   There is also a local bus stop in Mrákotín – the distance from there to the cabin is approximately 1.2 km (about a 15-minute walk).
